Ambassador Program

The Transit Ambassador Program adds an additional layer to ABQ RIDE’s security plan by providing low level intervention such as customer service and other resources to the public as well as valuable feedback to ABQ RIDE’s facility maintenance division and leadership team.

Engage & Enhance our Public Transit

The ABQ RIDE Ambassador Program enhances the public transit experience by providing friendly, knowledgeable volunteers who assist riders with navigation, accessibility needs, and general inquiries. Ambassadors help first-time riders feel confident using the system, promote safety and courtesy, and serve as a welcoming presence on buses and at transit centers.

How to Sign Up

Become an Ambassador Today

  • Select "Respond"
  • Fill out and submit online form
  • Undergo background check
  • Review and sign waiver and ABQ RIDE Code of Conduct Agreement

Volunteers are required to sign a photo release waiver, injury / liability waiver, L2 background check, and to be between the ages of 18 and 80. At the end of the training, new ambassadors will receive an official shirt and drawstring bag.
