How do I buy tickets?
The Albuquerque City Council approved permanent free fares for the ABQ RIDE system. No tickets are needed.
How do I transfer?
ABQ RIDE connects to the New Mexico Rail Runner Express, Greyhound, and Amtrak at the Alvarado Transportation Center. Other transit providers may collect fares for service outside of the ABQ RIDE system.
How frequent is service?
ART buses arrive approximately every 12 minutes between Unser and Louisiana, and every 25 minutes north/east of the Central and Louisiana station.

Where are stations located?
Stations are located approximately every ½ mile on Central between Coors and Louisiana. They are well lit and most are located in the middle of the street.
All ART stations include designated pedestrian crossing signals so customers can safely cross the street and walk to and from the station.
Why are there no ART stations beyond Louisiana?
ART is a federally-funded project that constructed stops in the core portion of the route between Unser Boulevard and Louisiana Boulevard. Both Louisiana Boulevard and the remaining stretch of Central Avenue were not included so that the budget of the project met the Small Starts program limits.
Can I bring my bike?
Yes. With ART, you can bring your bike right onto the bus. Before boarding, make sure there is room on board. If the racks are full but there is adequate room, you may stand with your bike during the trip. Always enter through the back door with your bike. If there is not enough room available on board, you may be asked to wait for the next bus.
Is ART accessible?
ART has level-entry boarding which makes it easier for those with wheelchairs, walkers and strollers to board. Passengers using wheelchairs can choose to ride in either a forward-facing or rear-facing self-securing wheelchair space. There are Braille "Stop Requested" buttons on the bus and Braille information located on the ticket vending machines. Additionally, audio and vibratory signals will also be at pedestrian crossings.
Where can I park to ride ART?
There are three park and ride locations: Central and Unser Transit Center; Uptown Transit Center; Louisiana and Central/EXPO.
