Trash, Recycling, and Large Items Will Be Collected on New Year’s Eve

The City’s Solid Waste Management Department will collect trash, recycling, or large items on New Year’s Eve, Friday, December 31, 2021.
All three convenience centers, Montessa Park, Don Reservoir and Eagle Rock will be open and in full operation from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, Friday, December 31, 2021 but will be closed on New Year’s Day, Saturday, January 1, 2022. All three convenience centers will reopen from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2022. The Cerro Colorado Landfill will also be open on New Year’s Eve from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., but will be closed on New Year’s Day, Saturday, January 1. The landfill will reopen from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m on Sunday, January 2, 2022.

The main administrative office at 4600 Edith NE will be closed on Friday, December 31, 2021 and will reopen on Monday, January 3.
ACT (household hazardous waste) at 6137 Edith NE will be open on Friday, December 31, 2021 and will be closed on Saturday, January 1. ACT will reopen on Monday, January 3.
