Are you interested in becoming a PSA or Cadet with the Albuquerque Police Department?
If so, we will be hosting a Rapid Hire Event on Saturday, August 17th and Sunday, August 18th at the APD Academy 5412 2nd St NW. We will be offering immediate temporary hire within a week of the August 17th rapid hiring event to qualified individuals interested in becoming a cadet or police service aide.
This program provides applicants with a temporary job while going through the background check process. Applicants will participate in a fitness regimen designed to help them successfully complete the physical cadet entry assessment during your regular work hours. That’s right, get paid to work out!
The position pays $19.75 per hour, and upon completion of the background check process, applicants will transition to Cadet or PSA city employment.
