Report a Crime or Incident Online

For incidents regarding Hit and Run Accidents or Motor Vehicle Accidents, please call (505) 242-2677 for assistance. These types of reports cannot be completed online.

To report the crime to the Albuquerque Police Department, the crime must have happened in Albuquerque.

We currently accept online reports for the following categories:

  • Auto Burglary - Note: Stolen license plates cannot be submitted online.

Fraud

Your credit card was fraudulently used to make unauthorized purchases


Residential Burglary

Person(s) entering a residential dwelling without permission from the owner and removing or damaging items from within the dwelling.


Lost Property

When property is missing or lost. Note: Stolen license plates cannot be submitted online.


Vandalism

The act of damaging or defacing public or private property.


Auto Burglary

If your vehicle has been broken into. Note: Stolen license plates cannot be submitted online.


Vandalism of a Motor Vehicle

Any damage to a vehicle exterior, not including theft of parts or entry into vehicle.


Telephone Harassment

Unwanted phone calls of an annoying, harassing or threatening nature.

With this system you will be able file an online police report without waiting and print a copy of the report for free. If you have been the victim of harassing calls, you can use this system.

 

Theft or Larceny

Your property is taken without your permission.

 

Road Rage and Aggressive Driving

You witness or are victim of road rage or aggressive driving.
