Metro 15 Offender Gerald Marquez Arrested

Metro 15 offender Gerald Marquez (12/18/1986) was arrested today by Valencia County Sheriff's Office based on a Crime Stoppers tip on his outstanding warrants. He will be booked into Valencia County Detention Center.

When he was added to the list, Marquez faced charges of possession of a firearm/destructive device by a felon. Marquez will face additional charges from today’s arrest.

The Metro 15 Operation is a targeted component of Mayor Keller’s Violence Intervention Program – a proactive effort to attack violent crime from all sides.

The Metro 15 is a working list of the top 15 violent crime offenders in Albuquerque identified by the Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office, the New Mexico Attorney General’s Office, the state Office of Superintendent of Insurance, and APD.
