APD Recovers Stolen Rental Van with Missing Band Equipment

ALBUQUERQUE – This morning at approximately 7:00 a.m. a yellow, 26-foot, Penske rental truck was reported stolen from the parking lot of the Homewood Suites at 1520 Sunport Pl SE. The rental truck contained the Las Cruces High Schools marching band equipment. Officers are currently on scene in the area of 8th St. NW and Hanes Ave NW were they have located the vehicle.
UPDATE:
The stolen vehicle was recovered, along with most of the missing band equipment.
