APD Launches Public Safety Survey to Understand Community Connection
ALBUQUERQUE – The Albuquerque Police Department is working to bring neighborhoods together across the city, in an effort to increase community safety.
To begin gathering information, APD is launching a public survey which is designed to gauge community trust, understand safety needs, and explore what platforms reach individuals best.
The survey asks questions regarding a person’s willingness and ability to participate in community meetings and, if not, what is the best way to engage with them.
“I want to be honest about where we are, and how the community views our department and safety within the city, said Chief Harold Medina. “We have come a long way to improve and better our agency, but we know we have to continue building trust each day and the work is never done.”
The link to the survey can be found here. The survey will be open through September 6.
