APD Issues Over 70 Citations During TEAM Tact Plan

ALBUQUERQUE – APD’s Motors unit conducted a Targeted Enforcement and Active Monitoring (TEAM) tact plan on Sunday night on Central Ave from I-25 to 98th street.

Officers issued 75 citations during six hour operation, which included citations for speeding, careless driving, and red light violations. Full results below:

• 2 speeding cites
• 18 registration related cites
• 11 insurance related cites
• 1 seatbelt site
• 3 driver’s license related cites
• 2 no signal cites
• 1 red light violation
• 1 careless driving cite
• 2 window tint cites
• 1 modified exhaust cite
• 1 towed vehicle
• 33 other citations

TEAM is a program that began in 2022 to better allocate officer resources and overtime.
