APD investigating overnight shooting death

ALBUQUERQUE – APD homicide detectives are investigating an overnight shooting death at a home in Southwest Albuquerque.

Officers responded shortly after 4 a.m. to reports of a man being shot at a home located at 10108 Cartagena Ave., S.W. Officers located an adult male, later identified as Adrian Vallejos, 34, who suffered a gunshot wound.

Vallejos was transported to a local hospital where he died as a result of his wounds.

The investigation is ongoing.
