APD arrests woman for fatally stabbing boyfriend

On May 1, 2022, around 4:00 a.m. officers were called to a stabbing incident. A female was knocking on the door of a neighbor, asking for police to be called. The female said she stabbed her boyfriend after the boyfriend attempted to stab her. Upon arrival, officers found a male deceased inside the female's apartment from an apparent stabbing. The female was transported to UNMH for injuries.

Upon further investigation, Michelle Morgan, 40, has been charged with an Second Degree Murder and she was booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing.
