APD arrests second suspect for May homicide at Central Ave hot spot

ALBUQUERQUE – APD detectives today arrested a second suspect for the shooting death in May of Raymond Sedillo at a notorious smoke shop on Central Avenue.

 

Detectives arrested Tyrell Burr, 27, this evening and charged him with the murder of Sedillo, who was shot May 8, 2022, and died as a result of his gunshot wounds on May 21, 2022.

 

Detectives previously arrested Curtis Taylor, 24, for his role in the murder.

 

Detectives learned through investigation that several individuals, including Burr and Taylor, shot Sedillo as he sat in his vehicle in the parking lot at the In & Out smoke shop.

 

Burr is charge with an open count of murder and tampering with evidence. He will be booked into the Metro Detention Center.
