APD Arrests Metro 15 Offender Lester Bottoms Again

Metro 15 offender Lester Bottoms was arrested again today by Auto Theft detectives, just nine days after he was arrested during a SWAT stand-off.

Once again, Bottoms, 33, attempted to flee from officers when he was spotted today at 225 Utah NE. A plan was formulated and his residence was surrounded in which time he attempted to flee from the residence to the west. Detective confronted him and he attempted to run north through back yards. Again, detectives on the north side challenged him and he surrendered peacefully to detectives. A stolen box trailer, which detectives saw him going in and out of, was located on his property. A search warrant was obtained and the trailer was recovered. Bottoms was booked into MDC without incident.
