APD Arrests 62 Offenders in 14th Anti-Crime Operation

APD completed its 14th city-wide and most successful Anti-Crime Operation to date.  The operation resulted in the arrest of an additional 62 offenders. A total of 612 individuals have been arrested since the start of the operations in August. Officers also recovered 11 firearms and 11 stolen vehicles.

The Anti-Crime Operation was conducted Dec. 14-19, 2020, as a joint operation between the Field Services Bureau, Special Operations Bureau and the Investigative Bureau.

A total of 41 outstanding warrants were cleared, and 39 new felony arrests were made. Additionally, 337 moving citations were issued. 

“We continue to see promising results from our Anti-Crime Operations,” said Interim Chief Harold Medina. “I’m incredibly proud of the day in and day out work of the men and woman of APD, taking wanted offenders into custody.”
