APD’s DWI Unit arrested six drunk drivers during a sobriety checkpoint this weekend.
The DWI Unit worked with the Swing Shift Motors Unit on a sobriety checkpoint at San Mateo and Haines from 11 p.m. Friday to 2:30 a.m. Saturday. In all 462 vehicles came through the checkpoint and officers identified and arrested 6 drunk drivers and made two felony arrests in reference to narcotics violations.
