APD Arrest Alert: AZ Kidnapping Suspect

ALBUQUERQUE – APD detectives worked an Anti-Crime Operation in the Southeast area command. During the op, they located a suspicious vehicle bearing a temporary registration belonging to a different vehicle. A traffic stop was initiated by GVST and the driver was identified as Steve Pannhourst and showed to have a felony warrant out of Arizona for kidnapping and robbery. During the initial contact, a firearm was also observed near the legs of a male passenger by assisting detectives. The passenger cooperated with detectives, exited the vehicle, and was later released. The vehicle was sealed pending a search warrant, as Steve is a convicted felon and being extradited back to Arizona. GVST transported Steve to the PTC where he was booked for his warrant
