On August 25, 2024, officers with the Valley Area Command were dispatched to the area of 6th and Copper regarding an incident that took place. Officers later determined that a subject had died at a local urgent care as a result of the incident that occurred. A homicide investigation was started and one subject is in custody as a result of the investigation.
