On April 6, 2024 Downtown officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of 608 Copper Ave., N.W., near 6th Street, just north of Central Ave. Multiple shots were heard in the area. A male victim was located on the ground and determined to be deceased. Homicide detectives have started an investigation.
