On March 4, 2024, Southeast Area Command officers were dispatched to the area of Indiana and Central after a shooting. A victim was transported to UNMH where they were later declared deceased. A second victim was treated and released from UNMH for a gunshot wound. Homicide detectives were called out and are currently investigating the incident.
