On August 25, 2024, Officers responded to a shots fired incident in the area of 1st/Gold Ave SW. Upon arrival, they located one male subject who had a gunshot wound. The male was transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. This is an ongoing investigation.
