On Aug. 13, 2023 at approximately 0545 hours southwest officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Paseo Del Canto Dr. SW in reference to a shooting. A five-year-old child was shot and injured. She was transported to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
