On Sept. 6, 2023 officers were dispatched to the area of University and Avenida Cesar Chavez in reference to shots fired at a vehicle. On arrival, one juvenile male was declared deceased from gunshot wounds on scene and one adult female was transported to UNMH in critical condition.
