On December 16, 2023, at 0401 hours, officers with the Albuquerque Police Department were dispatched to 10108 Cartagena Ave SW in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival officers located a male subject with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The male was transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital where he was pronounced deceased
