Current Planning Team
What We Do
The Current Planning team provides staffing support to the City’s principal development review and planning board.
Environmental Planning Commission (EPC) - The EPC has authority to review and decide most zone changes, master development plans, and some site plans associated with Planned Development (PD) zone districts or involving sensitive lands. The EPC also provides advice to the City Council on annexations and many other planning matters.
How We Serve You
The Current Planning team is available to assist you with research and guidance for many types of applications, as well as answering questions about the EPC process. The Current Planning team conducts Pre-application Review Team (PRT) Consultations to assist you in planning your project and navigating the review and decision process, including all of the City's land use boards/commissions and most administrative land use decisions.

LUHO Hearing Information
Current Planning compiles information for appeals of land use decisions that are heard by the Land Use Hearing Officer (LUHO), who makes a recommendation to City Council. Ultimately, appeals are decided by the City Council.
