Description

The City of Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department (AWD) is expecting hundreds of orphaned kittens and puppies now and throughout the summer season. When the new arrivals come to the shelter, we will need certain items to care for these bundles of joy. The city shelter is hosting a virtual kitten and puppy shower now through April 30, 2025.

You can help save these fragile lives by donating items listed on our Amazon.com baby registry. Click on baby registry wish list on amazon.com and type in Kennel Kompadres with a ‘K’ to make your donation.

Members of the public can drop off donations at any of our Animal Welfare Department shelters. For a list of our locations, go to www.cabq.gov/pets.

Animal Welfare is always looking for foster parents to provide temporary homes for animals. Fostering is a rewarding experience and saves precious lives. If you are interested in fostering, apply here. For information email [email protected].

Thank you for being a hero to all the homeless pets at Animal Welfare Department shelters.
