ABQ RIDE welcomes the public to stroll through the Summer at the Alvarado Street Fair. This is the third of four Street Fairs presented at the Alvarado Transportation Center downtown this summer on the last Saturdays of the month. The event includes live music by Gary Costley, education, non-profits, local vendors, and food and drinks. This is the perfect event to pair with the Downtown Growers Market at Robinson Park.
Free event. There will be free parking available at the 1st and Gold Parking Structure; a QR code will be provided at the even to waive the parking fee.
WHO: Entertainment, non-profits, local shops, and food and drink vendors including The Brew Coffee, Gilded Belladonna, April Steiner, Harvest & Clay Pottery, Branded Tiger Creations, Silver Jewelry, Together for Brothers, ABQ TRU, IntelliTec College, Vaccination Clinic, AmeriCorps, Centro Savila, Ideal Option, Sacred Patterns Acupuncture, New Mexico Asian Family Center, Presbyterian Community Health, Keshet Dance & Center for the Arts, Strong Towns ABQ, Health Equity Council, Sokwa, Vizionz-Sankofa, Senior Resource Center, Smiles for Kids, OEI-ONAA, UNM Community Health Worker Initiatives Unit, and City of Albuquerque departments including Albuquerque Community Safety, Animal Welfare, Planning, Sustainability, Human Resources, and Civic Engagement.
Musical performances by Gary Costley at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
Pet Adoption - Adoption fee waived - Includes spay or neuter, pet tag, microchip, required vaccinations and one free initial vet visit. For dogs, you will receive on free dog training class.
