Veterans Memorial Volunteer Opportunities
The New Mexico Veterans Memorial is happy to host volunteers for our Visitor Center and Museum. Volunteers act as greeters and tour guides to the museum. A number of different veteran groups make up our volunteer base.
Volunteer responsibilities include:
- Engaging with the public as a representative of the park.
- Becoming knowledgeable on the exhibits and history represented in our collections, sculptures, and memorials.
- Sharing your knowledge and passion of our local military history with visitors of the park.
- The majority of the volunteer work can be done while sitting. Work environment is climate controlled and comfortable.
- Volunteers may also walk through the park--a great way to get your steps in--to engage with members of the public when they visit.
If you would like to become a volunteer you may sign up using the City of Albuquerque's volunteer website.
For any questions or concerns please call the City of Albuquerque Memorial Park Office at 505-768-4496
