Rise Up a Community in Movement
Come join community Dance Pioneer Romy Keegan will be offering her signature community dance class, Dance de la Terre (Dance of the Earth) as part of the Rise Up: Women in Movement events at the Open Space Visitor Center. Her beginner friendly classes are always welcoming, playful and FUN, offering accessible, natural movement with live drumming, to open and free the Heart, Spirit, Mind and Body! Come DANCE, and CELEBRATE, the Beauty, Wisdom, Grace and Power of the Feminine Spirit, in All Beings!

Description of Rise Up:
Rise Up was first premiered in the spring of 2023, in two pop up offerings in Civic Plaza, performed by Dancing Our Magick community dancers. It expresses the Beauty, Wisdom, Grace and Power of the Feminine Spirit in All Beings, and our capacity to create and express these ideals through both personal self exploration and expression, and through collective community efforts, which uplift and unite the Human Spirit - with respect and in cooperation with the Wild Natural Divine, all around us. It is an honor to share this dance prayer and affirmation as a part of the Open Space Visitor Center's celebrations in honor of Women's History Month.
