Learn to track Wildlife

The tracking workshop will be a hands-on, in-the-field experience, suitable for all skill levels and all ages.  It will last 2-3 hours and cover 1 ½ to 2 miles. We’ll learn how to identify tracks and sign left by a variety of bosque wildlife.

Description

Michael Cox is a Master Naturalist and a volunteer ecology educator at the Sandia Mountain Natural History Center.  He has been tracking for the last eight years and is certified at level three in Track and Sign by CyberTracker of North America. He has held tracking workshops for both city and county open space, the Bernalillo County Master Naturalist Program, Rio Grande Nature Center and Bosque School.

This will be open for youth and adults to come learn all about the world of tracking and wildlife life in the Bosque Ecosystem.
