Description

Registration required. Come join us for a morning of community service in the Bosque! Dia del Rio takes place every year on the third Saturday in October, hosted by the City of Albuquerque Open Space Division and the Open Space Alliance, and partnering with the ABQ BioPark. Projects include trail maintenance, revegetation and trash clean-up. This year on October 19th volunteers will meet at Tingley Beach, at the old train station building (map) to enjoy morning snacks before heading out to work on the various projects. Afterwards we’ll reconvene and raffle off prizes donated by local businesses.

Please bring sturdy footwear, work gloves, water, sunglasses and sunscreen. A hat is also recommended. Parking is limited, so please carpool (or bike!) if you can. Hope to see you there!
