Description

Join Open Space staff in learning about the different aspects of wildlife photography, from the ethical guidelines of taking pictures of wildlife to how to best tweak your camera’s settings to take advantage of the best lighting. Not only will you get the chance to practice setting up a cameras settings during the classroom session, but the second session offers a ~1 mile guided walk that will include photography experts helping participants practice their new skills.

Part 1 (classroom): 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 2 at the Open Space Visitor Center

Part 2 (field): 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Aug. 3 at the Candelaria Nature Preserve

Free, but registration required at play.cabq.gov. (Open Space → Public Programs → Adult Programs → Intro to the Outdoors)
