Single Player Rules

This is a Double Elimination tournament. All competitors will be eliminated after 2 set losses.

Game Settings

4 Players

Mode: Versus Race

Speed Class: 150cc Race

Teams: No Teams

Items: Normal Items

COM: No COM

Vehicles: All Vehicles

Courses: Random

Set Procedure

1. Players select their characters, karts, and control preferences, such as Smart Steering and Motion Control.
   Once players have made their selections, they are locked into these choices for the remainder of the set.
   
2. All players must choose "Random" on the course selection menu for every race. Failure to choose random will result in a penalty of -15 points to the offending player's score, IF that track is selected.
   
3. Play through the set. If any cheating is suspected, players are responsible for taking screenshots and reporting to an official for review immediately after the game of record has concluded.
   
4. After the tournament set has concluded, leave the score screen up and report to a Tournament Official. Do not return to the main menu.
   
5. The top two players proceed to the Gold Bracket.
   The bottom two players proceed to the Silver Bracket.
   

Grand Finals will be a best of 5 game set between the final 4 remaining competitors.
Competitors from the Gold Bracket must suffer 2 set losses to be eliminated from Grand Finals.
