Light Up the Holiday Season at Civic Plaza
Holiday lights and decorations have returned to Civic Plaza for the holidays.

Today, the City of Albuquerque announced the return of holiday lights and decorations to Civic Plaza.
“Adorning Civic Plaza with holiday lights and decorations provides a whimsical sense of fun and togetherness for the community,” said Pat Montoya, director of Municipal Development. “We look forward to the holidays and dressing up Civic Plaza every year.”
The Plaza also offers a playground, an upgraded screen at Al Hurricane, Jr. Pavilion to be used this holiday season for World Cup watch parties, and solar pergolas that provide shade and power for the plaza. Civic Plaza will be activated for Food Truck Fridays December 2, 9 and 16 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
