Statement: Albuquerque Passes “Downtowner” Development Agreement
6-story housing development and neighborhood café part of “Downtowner” project

ALBUQUERQUE – Tonight, the Downtowner Development and Disposition Agreement passed City Council with a unanimous vote.
“In the midst of a housing crisis, we are grateful for redevelopment projects like the Downtowner that increase the number of housing units while also contributing to a vibrant downtown district,” said Terry Brunner, Director of the Metropolitan Redevelopment Agency. “Increasing street-level activity downtown will ultimately create a safer, more walkable neighborhood.”
