MRA Boutique Business & Property Grants

The Metropolitan Redevelopment Agency (MRA) is deeply committed to creating a thriving and diverse entrepreneurial landscape. To achieve this, the agency has established a comprehensive incentive program known as Boutique Grants, which aims to provide targeted support to property and business owners located within MRA areas. The primary goal of the Boutique Grants is to bolster the local economy and enhance its resilience by offering financial assistance to small and emerging businesses within the MRA boundaries. This support incentivizes property owners who fulfill specific criteria and attain predetermined benchmarks.

The Boutique Grant Programs encompass a range of funding allocations, each tailored to address the unique needs of businesses within the MRA areas. These grants are highly competitive, and successful applicants must strictly adhere to the program guidelines throughout the application process. It's important to note that the availability of these grants may be limited to certain geographic areas within the MRA boundaries.

Some of the previous boutique grant programs include the Route 66 Sign Improvement and Storefront programs. Furthermore, there is the Community Connect security camera program, which focuses on enhancing downtown safety. This program offers a $20,000 award to install security cameras linked to the Albuquerque Police Department's Real Time Crime Center network.
