Mayor Tim Keller Congratulates New Council Leadership
Albuquerque City Council elected Councilor Klarissa Peña as president.

Mayor Tim Keller released the following statement after Albuquerque City Council elected Councilor Klarissa Peña as president of the council and an all women team was elected by the council. Councilor Cynthia Borrego will serve as vice president of the council and Councilor Trudy Jones will chair the Committee of the Whole.
“Councilor Klarissa Peña has a long record of standing up for Albuquerque families and getting work done in this city. I look forward to working with her and the rest of the leadership team,” said Mayor Tim Keller.
