Mayor Keller Kicks Off New Initiative Aimed at Turning Government Inside Out
September 25, 2018
In an ongoing effort to turn government inside out and give Burqueños the opportunity to connect with City Hall, Mayor Keller is kicking off an new initiative aimed at getting staff out into the community. Mayor’s Corner events will make staff available to assist residents who have questions regarding City events, programs, and services.
“From trash pickup to afterschool programs for kids, the City offers countless services. But many times our residents have problems accessing those services or don’t know that they’re available. So, we’re turning government inside out and bringing this information to their corners.” said Mayor Tim Keller.
The first round of Mayor’s Corner events will be held on the following dates. More locations, dates, and times will be announced as they become available.
- Tuesday, September 25, 2018 - 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. - Barelas Senior Center - 714 7th St. SW, 87102
