Mayor Keller Elected Delegate to the Democratic National Convention
Last month, Mayor Tim Keller was elected as a National Delegate to represent the New Mexico Democratic Party at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in August. Mayor Keller is one of four Pledged Party Leader and Elected Official (PLEO) Delegates.
“I’m honored to be part of a great team of delegates to the DNC in Chicago to represent New Mexico,” said Mayor Tim Keller. “I look forward to the opportunity to play a role in this historic and important process! With so much on the line for our families, I’m grateful for the opportunity to help shape the direction of our country at this critical moment.”
As a delegate to the DNC, Mayor Keller will have the opportunity to cast a vote for the party’s presidential and vice presidential nominees. Delegates also play an important role in shaping the party’s platform and policies that will affect the lives of Albuquerque families.
