City Activates Warming Centers in Response to Winter Weather
In response dangerous conditions caused by winter weather and multiple power outages, the City of Albuquerque is activating several temporary warming centers throughout the city. These warming centers are city-operated sites where community members can seek shelter from the cold beyond regular business hours.
Beginning on Thursday, November 7 through Saturday, November 9, 2024, the following senior centers and multigenerational centers will serve as warming centers during the hours indicated below:
