Metro Security Division Training Courses
Metro Security officers must pass a 4-week, 160+ hour training in order to join the force. Training that will be provided includes:
- CPR/NARCAN/AED/First-Aid Certification
- Defensive Tactics
- Incident Scene Management
- Radio/Mobile Dispatch Terminal (MDT)
- Fire Suppression
- Report Writing
- De-Escalation
- OC/Baton/Handcuff Certification
- Traffic Control Certification
- Conducting Patrols
- Emergency Response (Evacuation/Perimeter Security)
- Interpersonal Communications
- Interacting with those experiencing homelessness and more....
