AFR Conducts 99th Cadet Class Graduation
Albuquerque Fire Rescue welcomes 37 Firefighters to the Department.

Albuquerque Fire Rescue is proud to announce the graduation of the 99th Cadet Class. These 37 graduates, and now Firefighters 2nd Class, will be joining the ranks of AFR and have an immediate impact in serving our community. The Academy began on August 1st, 2022 and was completed on December 8th, 2022. The probationary Firefighters will be in the field as soon as Saturday December 10th.
“Our department is fortunate to have such dedicated professionals on the front lines at AFR, and today we welcomed a whole new class of firefighters to the team,” said Fire Chief Gene Gallegos.
