Deputy Director of Environmental Health

Dr. Terrance Smith is a longtime resident who has deep family roots in Albuquerque. Dr. Smith was in the medical industry for over 16 years where he worked in multiple specialties. Dr. Smith brings a wealth of experience in public and environmental health as a certified researcher. He has served on multiple public health equity committees globally and all over the US. In addition to working in the medical field, he is an adjunct professor. He teaches classes on Public health administration, Medical technology and innovation, Business, Project management and Leadership development. Throughout his career Dr. Smith has exemplified exceptional leadership skills by leading initiatives that drove change in organizations and the surrounding communities.
