Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Resources and Assistance
The DVSAC voted at the July 2023 meeting to establish the following two subcommittees: The Policy and Funding Subcommittee and; Training Subcommittee.
About the Policy and Funding Subcommittee
The Policy and Funding Subcommittee of the Domestic Violence Commission is responsible for developing and advocating for policies, legislation, and funding initiatives that address domestic violence, promote survivor-centered approaches, and enhance the effectiveness of support services.

Meeting Information
The Policy and Funding Subcommittee will meet on the 4th Wednesday of every month from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 AM. Meeting dates include: December 20, January 24, February 21, March 27, April 24, May 22, June 26, July 24, August 28, September 25, October 23, November 27.
Location: Location: City Hall, 7th Floor Executive Conference Room or Join the Policy and Funding Subcommittee meeting on Zoom.
In compliance with OMA, agendas for future meetings are available at least 72 hours prior to the meetings for which they pertain. Draft meeting minutes are available within 10 days of each convening or before the next scheduled quorum, whichever is less. Once approved, board minutes will be added below.

About the Training Subcommittee
The Training Subcommittee of the Domestic Violence Commission is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs aimed at raising awareness, educating stakeholders, and data centered approaches to promote effective responses to domestic violence within the community.

Meeting Information
The Training Subcommittee will meet on the 4th Monday of every month from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
Location: Location: City Hall - 1 Civic Plaza NW, Albuquerque, NM. View City Hall on a map, DMD 7th Floor Executive Conference Room. Take Elevators to 7th Floor, take a left off of the elevators and it is the first conference room on the left side of the hall; or Join the meeting on Zoom: Complete required registration to attend via Zoom.
