City Council President Klarissa Peña has cancelled the January 6, 2020 meeting of the City Council

The Vincent E. Griego Chambers will remain dark on Monday January 6, in respect for Councilor Ken Sanchez who passed away on January 1st. 

“The City needs time to grieve, and to process the unprecedented loss of one of our sitting Council members before going back to business as usual,” said Peña.

The City Council expects to resume its regular business on January 22, which will be a Wednesday meeting because of Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 20.
