City Council President Dan Lewis releases the following statement:

The Albuquerque City Council has increased security measures at its meetings. Metal detectors have been installed at the entrance to the Vincent E. Griego Chambers at the Albuquerque Government Center. These measures align with the same level of security provided to the public when they enter the Bernalillo County Building and the State Capitol.
