District 8 Seeking Applicants for the Metropolitan Parks and Recreation Advisory Board

ALBUQUERQUE - District 8 City Councilor Dan Champine wants constituents to know of the open position on the Metropolitan Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. The members of this board serve an advisory role to Parks and Recreation Department and Department Director David Simon.

The Metropolitan Advisory Board holds one meeting monthly, open to the public. The current board meets from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month. The Board addresses a wide variety of matters relevant to community and our parks.

Members must be residents of the City of Albuquerque and able to attend the monthly meetings.

Applications are being accepted for the District 8 representative to the advisory board.
