Lomas Traffic Calming & Green Stormwater Infrastructure Analysis
Capital Outlay Funds Requested.
Councilor Fiebelkorn has begun the process of traffic calming on Lomas between Girard and San Pedro. An initial traffic study is underway. Further funding is being sought to complete the traffic analysis, install rest-on-red traffic timing in the area, and investigate the possible use of green stormwater infrastructure in the area. The main goal of the project is to improve travel and safety for all users while fostering a vibrant, multimodal corridor. Traffic calming measures would be evaluated for areas to increase pedestrian and bicycle safety and accessibility.
