Uptown Area Safety Improvements

Councilor Fiebelkorn worked with the Albuquerque Police Department (APD) to have the Uptown Area be the first location of the Community Connect safety camera installations. Twenty-two cameras were installed in the area and connected to APD's Real Time Crime Center so criminal activities can be monitored as they happen. The cameras are focused on public areas to improve pedestrian safety and crime fighting activities throughout the Uptown area.
