2024 Personnel Board Election
On Monday, April 29, 2024, through Friday, May 3, 2024, the Office of the City Clerk will hold an electronic election to fill one (1) vacancy on the City of Albuquerque’s Personnel Board.
Any permanent City employee wishing to nominate a candidate to fill this vacancy may do so by submitting a petition with the following information:
- Nominee’s Name
- Nominee’s Address
- Nominee’s Telephone Number
- Nominee’s Email
- Nominee’s Occupation
- Certification that the nominee has resided in Albuquerque for at least one (1) year
- Name, Signature, Department and Employee ID Number of twenty (20) permanent City employees.
Nominating petitions may be obtained in an electronic or hard copy format upon the request from the Office of the City Clerk. To request a nominating petition, please email [email protected].

City employees and elected public officials are not eligible candidates for this election.
The Office of the City Clerk must receive completed Nominating Petitions no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2024. The City Clerk must receive original signatures on Nominating Petitions. Electronic petitions are not accepted. Please submit Nominating Petitions to the Office of the City Clerk, 600 2nd Street NW, Suite 720.
