Route 66 Visitor Center Commission
Purpose
Through the vision and effort of the community members from the Westside of Albuquerque the Route 66 Visitor Center has transcended from a vision to becoming a community asset that serves the Albuquerque community. To preserve and further the vision of the community members who created the center it is necessary that community members continue to be instrumental in developing policies and goals to operate the center and address the challenges and opportunities the Route 66 Visitor Center will encounter. To grow the Route 66 Visitor Center's potential as an integral part of the Route 66 experience stakeholders in the development and preservation of the Route 66 experience should also be instrumental in developing policies and goals for the center.
